Florian Ascherl supports the Fraunhofer Venture team in matters involving innovation management and start-up incubation. He is particularly responsible for structuring and implementing the Research Fab Microelectronics Germany (FMD) founder module. The FMD module supports microelectronic spin-offs within the entire start-up ecosystem. Ideas originating outside Fraunhofer as well as founder teams or start-ups also benefit from this incubation program. Prior to joining Fraunhofer, Florian worked as a business consultant and co-innovator. He studied business sciences with a focus on economics at FAU University in Nuremberg and the American University in Washington D.C. (US). Florian also holds a Master's degree in strategic management from the University of Innsbruck.
